We needed to trademark our brand name for our import business and really did not know where to start. We have some good friends who had a very bad experience when they got their trademark and they warned us about what to do and what not to do. They said if you don’t have a good trademark attorney, plan on going through a very long, very expensive and painful process. So we took their advice and started searching online.
After speaking with a few attorneys, we found Kevin. He immediately was so different from the others. He explained everything in simple, everyday terms and put us so at ease about the process and the costs. We were on a very tight budget and he really respected that. He helped us to understand what we needed to do now and what could wait until later when we add more product lines. The whole process did take a long time, mostly because the Trademark Office is very slow but also because I was not always the quickest in getting back to Kevin. He knew we had a lot going on outside of all this but he stood with us anyway every step of the way, no matter how long things took.
